Terms and conditions of sale and of Use of our websites
Delivery prices Please see our e-commerce websites for details of delivery charges. Most UK orders will be dispatched the day you place the order, and will arrive within 2 working days. However, there will be occasional delays. If you are working to a deadline - such as a birthday - please let us know and we will do everything possible to hit it, or tell you that we cannot. Returns We want you to really enjoy your purchases from us. If you need to return an item please email or call us first for instructions. Goods that are damaged or faulty on arrival, or goods that fail during the warranty period, will be replaced or a full refund made. Goods returned for other reasons (e.g. you changed your mind) must be returned for refund within 7 days in perfect condition and in the intact orginal packaging. Postage and packing will be refunded only if goods returned are faulty. For items orginally supplied free of postage an amount of £5.95 will be charged unless returned goods are faulty. You are responsible for ensuring that any returned goods reach us and arrive in good condition. We recommend obtaining proof of postage for all items posted in the UK and using an insured service, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery, for items valued over £35 so that you can reclaim from the carrier the cost of any returned goods lost or damaged in transit. For items returned from outside the UK you should use an insured courier or postal service. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm Value Added Tax (VAT) Prices for all products and for delivery charges are subject to value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate and are displayed including VAT. VAT is not chargeable for delivery addresses outside the European Union so your order value will be reduced accordingly at checkout. Duty All products and services sent to customers outside the UK are sold on a Delivery Duty Unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay import duty, local taxes or other fees prior to, on, or after delivery. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are required to check these details before placing an order for international delivery. WEEE Regulations Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulation (WEEE) Regulation 2006. Nectarine Ltd takes its responsibilities under the WEEE regulations seriously. Our producer number is WEEFJ2087SV. Where Nectarine Ltd is a distributor of EEE as defined by the regulation: (1) We will accept without charge and dispose of in an environmentally friendly manner at an approved WEEE disposal centre on a like for like basis any item similar to an item purchased from Nectarine Ltd that falls under the WEEE regulation. (2) Please contact Nectarine Ltd at the time you make the purchase and we will give you instructions for returning your old item. Nectarine Ltd would like to draw your attention to: (i) Your role in the re-use, recycling and other forms of recovery of WEEE under the regulations. (ii) The potential effects on the environment and human health as a result of the presence of hazardous substances in EEE; and (iii) the meaning of the crossed out wheelie bin symbol. Much of the UK's WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
